“My Christmas Stocking – Filled with God’s Love”
was sent to me by Zonderkidz, a division of Zondervan Publishing. It was free of charge, in exchange for my
honest review.
“My Christmas Stocking” was written by Crystal
Bowman, with the illustrations done by Claudine Gevry. This book is a Christian children’s picture
book. It is a board book, so you don’t
have to worry about little ones with sticky fingers :-D (I like that!)
“My Christmas Stocking” is about how the tradition
of the Christmas stocking began. He told
of how Saint Nicholas wanted to show God’s love and how He sent us the gift of
His Son. Sometimes he would hide the
gifts in a child’s socks that were hanging by their fireplaces (probably to
dry). This book uses rhythm and rhyme,
so children will enjoy listening to it.
I’d recommend this for young children and those
teaching or reading to them.
