“Thank You, Lord, for Everything” was sent to me
by Zonderkidz, a division of Zondervan Publishing. It was free of charge, in exchange for my
honest review.
“Thank You, Lord, for Everything” is a children’s
picture book written by PJ Lyons. The
precious illustrations were done by Tim Warnes.
This book is a board book, so it is fine for little hands. I love how it has rhythm and rhyme, which
little ones seem to really like. It has
bright pretty pictures to catch a child’s attention. And, it names different things in a child’s
life to help them learn to give thanks.
Our society wants to teach an attitude of “It’s owed to me.” But, this book teaches an attitude of
gratitude.
I’d definitely recommend this book to young
children and those reading to and teaching them.
