“Outcasts”
was sent to me, free of charge, by Zonderkidz in exchange for my honest review. It is the second book in the trilogy, “The
Safe Lands”. I do not usually enjoy
fantasy type books, but Jill Williamson is an amazing writer and was able to
pull me right in!!
“Captives”
is book one in the trilogy and you will see that it also got a glowing review
from me. I will say now that I am on pins and needles to receive the final book
of this trilogy! It is a real nail biter all the way through!
In “Outcasts”
Levi, Mason, and Omar, along with their friends Zane and Ruston, are working to
free their brothers and sisters from the Safe Lands, where they are being held
captive. Several of the women were
rescued in “Captives”.
The thing I
found most intriguing was the very last paragraph of the book! Two of the main
characters are on trial, but we are left hanging as to their fate…which is why I’m
in such a hurry to receive the next book.
I promise that,
if you like romantic/suspense, like I do, you will thoroughly enjoy this
book. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT!!
