“Dreams by Starlight” was sent to me, free of charge, in
exchange for my honest review.
“Dreams by Starlight”
is the first novel in ‘The Dream Series’-written by Staci Stallings. It is a young adult fiction novel. In “Dreams by Starlight” we meet a very shy
young lady, named Camille. She has
extremely poor self esteem that she has to work through. She has to care for her sister, Daria,
because her mother is never there for them.
We also meet her best friends, Lexie and Nick – and her crush,
Jaylon. Jaylon is popular and thinks he’s
‘God’s gift to women’ until… His dad is hateful
to them, though I’m not sure he means to be.
Ariana, the young lady Jaylon dated, is a witch (not literally, but figuratively)
Ugh… She is just plain MEAN! Throughout the novel we witness the budding
romance between Camille and Jaylon, and their emotional growth.
If you want a sweet-clean romance novel, I would definitely
recommend you pick up a copy of Staci’s, “Dreams by Starlight"
