"Persistent
Love." Is a novella written by
Laura Marshall. It is a Christian
romance with even a small amount of suspense.
In it, we are introduced to the Kenward Family and several of their servants. We also meet their neighbors, the Sharptons.
We get to
enjoy the romance of care Tara Kenward and Andrew Sharpton. It began on very rocky ground (Tara wanted
nothing to do with Andrew.) He felt something
there, though, and would never give up pursuing her. When he was away from her, Tara felt an empty
stirring in her heart, and finally opened up to the possibilities. You'll have to read the book to find out if
Andrew won her heart. Jesus, however,
did win her heart. After a painful
childhood and the terror of a current incident, Tara finally began reading her
mother's Bible and eventually gave herself to the healing provided by our
merciful Savior.
I would recommend
this book for a sweet quick read. It
made me cry, get angry, laugh, and smile-just the kind of story I love to read.
