“Sacred Spring” is a Christian fiction book by DiVoran Lites. She sent it to me at no cost in exchange for
my honest review.
In “Sacred Spring” we watch the budding romance of Elaine Donovan and
Hank Schaefer. Elaine is a
conservationist and the owner of the campground that Hank and his partners want
to buy and turn into an industrial complex…Well, Hank wants to build a
subdivision. Elaine doesn’t want even a
leaf in her precious campground to be touched.
She is afraid any changes would hurt her crystal clear natural
spring. Tragedies with her brother,
Scotty, and her grandfather, Ira, help her to see that Hank is not such a bad
guy afterall.
I like this book especially because it was set in Central Florida,
where I grew up. I recognized the
hospital that Ira was taken to and other places in the story. It’s fun to pick out places that I
remember. DiVoran also includes a few
interesting facts about endangered and extinct species.
I would definitely recommend this book.
