“Glimmer Girls Light up New York” was sent to me by
Zonderkidz/Faithgirlz – a division of Zondervan Publishing – free of charge, in
exchange for my honest review.
“Glimmer Girls Light up New York” is a Christian
fiction novel written by Natalie Grant. Scattered throughout are illustrations
done by Cathi Morgan. The cover was
designed by Cindy Davis. This is the
fourth book in the series, “Glimmer Girls”.
In this book, the girl go to New York to do a benefit
for homeless teens. Maddie and Mia have
a few run-ins with their little sister, Lulu, who has a tendency to get her way
by “pitching a fit”. In the course of the story, we learn how Mom, Dad, and
Miss Julia deal with the turmoil. Also,
while they are in New York, the girls get to solve the mystery of the “Snow
Angel”. It is interesting what they find
out!
I would highly recommend this book to young readers –
maybe 1st through 5th grade…though, I enjoyed it, and I’m
53! J
This would also be a good chapter book for a parent or grandparent, teacher or
librarian, to read a chapter at a time.
Love it, as always!!
