“The
Berenstain Bears School Time Blessings” was sent to me by Zonderkidz - a
division of Zondervan Publishing – free of charge, in exchange for my honest
review.
“School
Time Blessings” is another children’s picture book, in the Berenstain Bears
collection. Mike Berenstain took over
for his mom and dad in writing and illustrating this series. I love the Berenstains, and have been reading
them since I was a little girl. I read
them to my boys when they were little.
And, now I read them to my grandchildren. I look forward to the day when my grandbabies
read them to their own children. They
have always taught good manners and morals, and now they include God’s Word in
them. They also include questions to
talk about and ways to put what they’ve taught into action.
In
“School Time Blessings” the cubs are a little nervous about starting back to
school. Mama and Papa teach them that
they can ask God for help and guidance.
They also learn to help each other.
I
really like this book and would recommend it to young readers and those who
read to and teach them.
