“Swimming
with Faith” was sent to me by Zonderkidz – a division of Zondervan publishing,
free of charge, in exchange for my honest review.
“Swimming
with Faith” is a biography of Missy Franklin, written by Natalie Davis Miller.
Missy
Franklin was a gold medal winner for her swimming. I like that she decided
early on to make it a point to stay a normal teenager. She still did her school and even some of her
school activities. She even went on
spiritual retreats. And, she always
remembered to give God the glory for all she had. It is said that she has been swimming since
she was five years old.
I
don’t usually read biographies, but I would definitely recommend this one for
tweens and teens. This is very
inspirational.
