“God
Bless Texas” was sent to me by Zonderkidz - a division of Zondervan Publishing

“God
Bless Texas” is a Christian children’s picture book, written and illustrated by
Peter Francis. This is a board book, so
would be appropriate for little hands.
It is also written in a way that a young reader could read and
enjoy. It has rhyme and rhythm, so I
believe that little ones will enjoy having it read to them.
I
love how, Henry, the little bear enjoys a trip to Texas, and tells about what
he sees and experiences. He visits Austin’s
capitol, Houston’s space center, Dallas’ rodeo, among others. He also visits Big Bend National Park and
floats down the Rio.
I
enjoyed this book, and would recommend it to children, and to those who read to
them.
