“The Legend of the Easter Robin – An Easter Story of
Compassion and Faith” was sent to me by Zonderkidz – a division of Zondervan
Publishing – free of charge, in exchange for my honest opinion and review of
it.
“The Legend of the Easter Robin” is a children’s picture
book written by Dandi Daley Mackall and beautifully illustrated by Richard
Cowdrey. Recently I have reviewed
several of Mackall and Cowdrey’s and I love them! I ABSOLUTELY love Richard Cowdrey’s precious
pictures!! I also enjoy how Dandi Daley Mackall tells stories to explain our
well-loved traditions.
The robin reminds of spring and of God’s death and
resurrection. The nest of the Crown of
Thorns on Jesus’ head. Easter eggs
remind us of new life in Christ…And, my favorite, the robin’s red breast
reminds us of Jesus’ blood, that He shed on the cruel cross. Read this book to find out the reasoning
behind these remembrances.
I DO RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!!
