“A Royal Easter Story” was sent to me by Zonderkidz – a
division of Zondervan Publishing – free of charge, in exchange for my honest
opinion and review of it.
This picture book was written by Jeanna Young and Jacqueline
Johnson. The illustrations were done by
Omar Aranda. They are colorful and quite
precious.
This story is about a family of five princess sisters. They are on their way to a big Easter
celebration in another land, in a race with a group of knight brothers when
they find a little girl who has lost her parents. The princesses decide that it is more
important to help the little girl find her parents than to win a race. It starts to storm and they all huddle under
a blanket and pray. I think this is the
first picture book I have ever seen with an actual prayer…I LOVE IT!!
I would recommend this storybook.
