“The Plans I
Have for You” was sent to me by Zonderkids, a division of Zondervan Publishing,
free of charge, in exchange for my honest review.
“The Plans I
Have for You” is a children’s fiction book, written by Amy Parker. The beautiful illustrations were done by
Vanessa Brantley Newton. I like that
this book is written like a letter from God telling the readers about how He
has different plans for each of their futures.
At the very beginning is the verse Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know I the
plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm
you, plans to give you hope and a future.” It is in the form of a banner with
diverse boys and girls holding it. They
each are dressed as a different profession.
I like this
book and I’d definitely recommend it for your young reader…or for parents,
grandparents, teachers, or anyone who reads to children. I will definitely be reading it to my
grandchildren!
