“The Berenstain Bears and the Easter Story” was sent
to me free of charge in exchange for my honest review by Zonderkidz…which is a
division of Zondervan Publishing.
I remember reading “The Berenstain Bears” to my boys
and to my nieces and nephews when they were little and now I am loving reading
them to my grandchildren in video chats because they are so far away. I especially love that Mike and Jan
Berenstain are making Christian picture books that tell stories from the Word
of God. Their books also always have
fun, colorful illustrations that captivate their young audience.
This book turns the Easter Pageant, which we see in
many churches every year, into a story for children. It holds their attention from beginning to
end and teaches as it goes.
I definitely recommend “The Berenstain Bears and the
Easter Story” to be read to your young tot for Easter…or really anytime.
