“I’m Going to Give You a Bear Hug” was sent to me by
Zonderkidz- a division of Zondervan Publishing – free of charge, in exchange
for my honest review.
“I’m Going to Give You a Bear Hug” is a children’s fiction
picture book. It was written by Caroline
B. Cooney. Tim Warnes drew the precious pictures
that accompany it.
In this book, the narrator promises all sorts of hugs from
all sorts of animals – a dog, a cat, a horse, even a whale! There were several
more animals that I didn’t even list! All of the hugs are given in fun and
whimsical ways, to make the reader giggle.
This would be a fun book to read. I’d definitely recommend it to young readers,
and all those who read to them.
