“Christmas
Love Letters from God – Bible Stories” was sent to me by Zonderkidz - a division
of Zondervan Publishing – free of charge, in exchange for my honest and not
coerced review.
“Christmas
Love Letters” is a Christian fiction children’s picture book, written by Glenys
Nellist. The precious pictures were
created by Rachel Clowes.
In this storybook,
we see seven stories surrounding our Savior’s birth. We have the prophecy of the birth from
Isaiah, through to the wise men’s visit.
Each story tells what happens and has a little note from the main character/s. There is also a verse for each one, called “God’s
Perfect Promise”. And then, a 3-D card “from
God”.
There is
only one possible problem that I foresee…I’m concerned that a child might have
trouble reading the font that has been chosen for the post card, “from God”.
I still love
this book and do recommend it for young readers, and those who read to
them.
