“A Royal
Christmas to Remember” was sent to me by Zonderkidz - a division of Zondervan
Publishing – free of charge, in exchange for my honest and not coerced review.
“A Royal
Christmas to Remember” is a Christian children’s fiction picture book, written
by Jeanna Young and Jacqueline Johnson.
The gorgeous pictures in this book were done by Omar Aranda.
This story
begins with the princess sisters being all selfish and self-absorbed. They cared only about THEIR Christmas. Then, they were robbed and tied up in their
kitchen, while their daddy was away, fighting the marauders who were pillaging
the village. The princesses change their
attitudes…But, as always, you’re going to have to read the book to find out
what all happened. I really don’t want to spoil it for you.
I also like “The
Princesses’ Journal” at the end of the story, that tells about the Bible story
of the Rich Man, found in Luke 12:15-21.
I do
recommend this book for young readers and for parents, grandparents, teachers,
librarians, and others who read to little ones.
