“The Berenstain Bears’ Holiday
Cookbook – Cub Friendly Cooking with An Adult” was sent to me free of charge,
by Zonderkidz – a division of Zondervan Publishing – in exchange for my honest
review.
It is written and illustrated by Mike
Berenstain - the son of Stan and Jan
Berenstain, who we all remember from our own childhoods, and those of our
children. I remember reading them to my little
boys, and when they started reading them to me.
Now, there are new ones that I enjoy reading to my grandchildren… so
exciting.
I am SO excited to start making these
recipes, MYSELF…But, they are recipes that can be done with children. They are fun, for different holidays. He’s included Valentine’s Day, Easter, July 4th,
Fall, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. My
favorite is the CARROT CHIPS in Easter…can’t wait to make them! There are so
many more! I like that Mike has written
a devotion for each holiday, too. Oh!
And, at the end, he’s included a table of kitchen measurements and metric
conversions.
I LOVE this and would recommend it as
a fun tool to spend special time with your kids and grandkids!! REALLY FUN!!
