“I Can Read! Adventure Bible – Heroes of the Bible Treasury”
was sent to me by Zonderkidz – a division of Zondervan Publishing – free of
charge, in exchange for my honest review.
This book contains six of the stories from the Adventure
Bible, written for Level Two readers – those who read, but with a little help. The pictures were done by David Miles.
In this book we have, “Noah’s Voyage”, “Joseph the Dreamer”,
“Moses Leads the People”, “Elijah, God’s Mighty Prophet”, “Brave Queen Esther”,
and “Paul Meets Jesus”.
Each of the stories are written with large letters and
contain many beautiful pictures. And,
each one ends with “People in Bible Times”, which has a couple of the
characters from the story and a “Did You Know?” section.
I really like this series of books because it prepares the
early reader to understand and enjoy the Word of God.
I do recommend it.
