“London Art Chase” was sent to me by Zonderkidz – a division
of Zondervan Publishing – free of charge, in exchange for my honest opinion and
review of it. It is a Faithgirlz
book. It is the first in a series of
“Glimmer Girls” books.
“London Art Chase” was written by the Grammy Nominated,
award winning recording artist, and best-selling writer, Natalie Grant. Her illustrations are done by Cathi
Mingus. The “Glimmer Girls” are Maddie,
Mia, and Lulu. Their nanny is Miss
Julia. Gloria, their mom is a famous
singer and their dad, a producer. In this
story, Maddie witnesses, what she thinks, is a theft. She does things she’s not supposed to do, and
even puts her life in danger to “solve the case”. She fell in love with a special painting and
felt it was her place to find out who stole it.
You will have to read the book to find out what else happened…wouldn’t
want to spoil it for you!! :-D
I do recommend this book and, by the way, when you get to
chapter fifteen and Mom sings to the girls, “When I Leave the Room”, go look it
up on YOU TUBE and listen to it…You will be blessed!
