“The Beauty
of Believing” was sent to me by Zonderkids, a division of Zondervan Publishing,
free of charge, in exchange for my honest review.
“The Beauty
of Believing” is a FAITHGIRLZ daily devotional book contributed to by Tasha
Douglas, Mona Hodgson, Kristi Holl, Lois Walfrid Johnson, Allia Zobil Nolan,
and Nancy Rue. It has 365 devotions
divided into six sections…GROWING SEEDS OF FAITH, GOD’S PROMISES, FINDING
STRENGTH IN HARD TIMES, GOD SPEAKS TO US, A HELPING BODY OF BELIEVERS, and THE
BEAUTY OF BELIEVING. Each section begins
with a short synopsis concerning what the following devotions will be
about. The daily devotions begin with a
memory verse and then have a short devotion.
After, is MORE TO EXPLORE, GIRL TALK (a couple questions to think about)
and GOD TALK (a short prayer).
This is a
very sweet devotional for TWEENS and TEEN girls and I’d highly recommend it.
