DESIRES OF MY HEART

“Desires of My Heart” was sent to me, free of charge, in exchange for my honest review.

"Desires of My Heart" is a Christian nonfiction book written by Heather Bixler.  In her book, Heather digs into the well-known Scripture, Psalm 37:4 -"Delight yourself in the Lord; and He will give you the desires of your heart."

The Lord wants us to need Him.  When we see that need and honestly admit that need THAT is when we truly delight in him!  I love how Heather uses true experiences to illustrate her points and MANY scriptures - not just Psalm 37:4.  She speaks of pride and fear and how, if we give God COMPLETE control (which is His anyway) we can have humility, peace, and faith.  I especially liked an exercise she did to help with fear... to imagine the worst case scenario and accept it as a possibility - then determine that "no matter what, I will continue to have a in Him and His word."

I DEFINITELY recommend this book!!
