RED DAWN RISING

"Red Dawn Rising" was sent to me by Kregel Publications, free of charge, in exchange for my honest opinion.

"Red Dawn Rising" is a Christian suspense novel written by Sue Duffy.  It had my attention from start to finish.  Just when I thought I'd figured it all out, something happened to change my mind... Just when I started to despise a character, they did something to make me sympathize with them....  pins and needles... Ups and downs... A real roller coaster ride!

In " Red Dawn Rising" we get to follow the budding romance of Cass Rodino and Jordan Winslow.    Cass is a Broadway set designer, who has already faced great tragedy in her life. She and Jordan - a shoe store owner - stumble upon information that could blow that life apart. They both are put into great danger when they try to do what they know is the right thing.

"Red Dawn Rising" involves terrorism against the United States. It was very intriguing! The  evil villains were truly horrifying, but there were times I could actually sympathize with them and understand their reasoning...Well, at least a couple of them! One villain even turns out to be not a villain at all. Evgeny Koslov was a former KGB assassin, but he came to care deeply for the young pianist, Liesl Bower, who he was sent to kidnap and murder. He even started to follow her to make sure that she stayed safe. In his quest to keep Leisl safe, he also help the FBI/CIA search for and bring down a terrorist ring.  I even began to sympathize with him! A couple other villains also kept my emotions on a roller coaster ride, too! I do not want to spoil this book for you, so you'll have to read it for yourself to see which ones!

This is a novel you want to read - especially if you like thriller suspense!

I recommend it!!
