“NIV The Plans I Have For You Holy Bible” was sent to
me by Zonderkidz – a division of Zondervan Publishing – free of charge, in
exchange for my honest review.
Some of the features available in this Bible are GOD’S
BIG PLANS – I like these because they explain how God used people like Moses
and Gideon and 48 others. This shows
that, if God could use them, God can use YOU.
There are 25 PROMISE PRAYERS throughout.
And, my favorite thing is the 100 HIGHLIGHTED VERSES found throughout
the Bible, that bring focus to God’s promises and His words. Of course, in the back of the Bible, we find
the indexes and tables.
I would recommend this Bible, but maybe to an older
middle schooler, who has already gotten interested in reading the Bible. There are no maps or special features
throughout that would hold the attention of a younger reader. The thing that disappointed me most, was that
there are no explanation pages at the beginning of the books. I really believe these are very helpful
